Drumcliffe Farm
raises Jacob sheep following accepted sustainable
and natural practices. We provide fleece and other
wool products for hand spinners and other textile
artisans. We are hands-on through the entire
process, monitoring the health of the animals,
making breeding decisions, and ensuring the
production of quality wool products for our
customers.
Drumcliffe Farm is located in the western foothills of the Cascade Range of Oregon in the morning shadows of Mt. Hood. The cool moist air that flows from the Pacific Ocean delivers an abundant rainfall to the Cascades resulting in natural grass pastures that are green and lush for a majority of the year.
This allows us to rotate our flock often providing our sheep with a sustainable diet while naturally controlling parasites and other health issues. Our management practices have proven to be excellent for breeding and the raising of a primitive breed of sheep such as Jacob.

Shearing
last Saturday was a total success. Once
again, we had more folks (estimated at 72) here to
help than we had sheep to shear. So to our
community that joined us last Saturday, and to
those that could not join us that day but have
supported us at other times, either with a helping
hand or with good thoughts, thank you, THANK YOU!
